I really want to say I liked this book, but I have to say that it was 'just okay'. The overall plot is great, the setting is interesting. There is just something off that I can't pinpoint. Maybe it's the MC. She is just too dry and boring for me. Maybe if it was Flint's POV, or even Tali's I would have liked it better. The storytelling this time around was also very slow. Slower than the first book. I found myself skimming a lot. I'm not even sure if I will continue the series. It's just a little too dull for my liking.
